So, I’ve started a couple of posts but haven’t posted in a bit, because THE PLAGUE took over our house! I had an RA flare (one of my posts in the works is attempting to make sense of this phenomenon without anyone else having to experience it), then Ben got the stomach flu, during which Nora started to get the sniffles, followed by my cold that would NOT quit, which turned into bronchitis and a sinus infection. Boo all around!
However, Ben is better, Nora is better, and I am finally on the mend! Tonight, Ben and I will be waiting tables for Gaslight Theatre’s annual dinner theater, and tomorrow night we’ll be seeing the show! This year’s performance is Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily. Dinner theater is held at the Enid Symphony Center and is really a treat. Mom and I will be waiting tables next weekend as well, so I’ll get the full experience 😉
This morning, this crazy kiddo got distracted by her Pawpaw mid-pic! Silly angel.
Mom and I were talking last night about how she seems to have changed recently, almost over night. She’s less and less baby and more and more toddler. The words that make sense to anyone but me are becoming more frequent and are more and more in context. Her movement is more graceful, feet are closer together when she walks… Everything about her is screaming “little girl!” She can sit through many books now, some even three times in a row. It’s crazy how a mother’s love grows and grows with the little monster…
One of my favorite things in the world continues to be watching her sleep.
