On a lighter note:
One of my tiny darling’s nicknames for awhile now has been “the daddy stalker.” She is so infatuated with Ben, it’s hilarious! She has recently also become quite curious about the animals, especially as seen above, when we’re putting her in her car seat and they’re above her. She has very obviously made it her mission to put their tails in her mouth at the quickest available moment when she is in the exersaucer or bounce bounce baby.
Now, back to the daddy stalking. Ben is no longer allowed to speak within hearing distance while Nora is eating or any hope of a complete meal is lost! She watches him sleep and waits for the moment he opens his eyes and squeals!
What happens when he walks away!
She’s getting closer to mobility every day… I’m afraid Ben may have a shadow at that point! She already knows how to wiggle out from my nursing cover to find him, and she can stretch and roll toward him on the bed!
The past few days she’s started a chorus of “dadadadadadada.” Now, everyone tells me that she doesn’t understand, that she’s still just working on simple sounds, but when she sees me the chorus continues, and when it’s her dad it turns to squeals. You be the judge!
Can’t say that I blame the tiny Norabear… I’m quite a fan of that guy myself 🙂
So sweet!
So cute and endearing!!
